Tulum, Mexico
For my 25th birthday, my father and I headed south to Tulum, Mexico in the state of Quintana Roo, just south of Cancun.
Tulum maintains its authenticity with a barely-English-speaking population, hotels and beaches that still maintain some of their independent charm, and food at a reasonable price.
In this album, you'll see mostly beaches, but also one of Tulum's cenotes, which are collapsed caverns with gin-clear water flowing through them, perfect for snorkeling alongside fish, turtles, and stalactites.
