Portrait Photography
Portrait photography is, at its core, getting to know your subject. My goal is to connect with my clients to create a portrait that shows them as they see themselves, which is harder than it sounds.
Getting your picture taken can be awkward, and my job is to make you feel happy, comfortable, and to have FUN.
My favorite part of portraiture photography is getting to know new people, new dynamics, and the surprises that come with a shoot. I think that portrait shooting is one of the most intimate types of photography, as it requires the photographer to gain the trust and friendship of the subject. Once that's established, the great shots just seem to happen magically. And of course, good lighting helps.
